A man lives on the 10th floor. Every day he takes the elevator down to the first floor to go to work. When he comes back from work, he takes the elevator up to the 7th floor and walks the rest of the way up. That is, unless it’s raining, in which case he takes the elevator all the way up. Why?
Answer: He is a midget. He is only tall enough to press the 7th button with his hands, which is why he walks the rest of the way. However, when it’s raining, he is carrying an umbrella, allowing him to reach with it and press “10”, so he can get to his floor without walking.
