TXT: Bubba, where’d you get that truck?!

One afternoon, old Jimmy was walking slowly down Main Street, minding his own business, when he heard the deep rumble of a brand-new pickup truck rolling up beside him.

He turned and saw his old buddy Bubba behind the wheel, grinning like he had just won the lottery.

“Bubba!” Jimmy shouted. “Where in the world did you get that truck?”

Bubba leaned out the window proudly and said, “Mary gave it to me.”

“Mary gave it to you?” Jimmy asked, eyes wide. “I knew she liked you a little, but a brand-new truck?”

Bubba nodded. “Yep. Let me tell you what happened.”

He cleared his throat and continued.

“We were driving down County Road 6, way out in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly, Mary pulls off the road, puts the truck in four-wheel drive, and heads deep into the woods.”

Jimmy listened carefully.

“Then she parks, gets out, takes off all her clothes, looks right at me, and says, ‘Bubba, take whatever you want.’”

Jimmy blinked. “And?”

Bubba smiled and patted the steering wheel.

“So I took the truck.”

Jimmy stared at him for a second, then nodded with respect.

“You’re a smart man, Bubba.”

He looked him up and down and added:

“Them clothes woulda never fit you anyway.”
