A young couple had just gotten married, and after a beautiful wedding, they finally arrived at their hotel suite for the night.
They were happy, excited, and very much in love. Like many newlyweds, they spent their first night together celebrating their marriage with plenty of passion, laughter, and very little sleep.
By morning, the husband woke up exhausted but proud, feeling like the honeymoon had started perfectly.
He climbed out of bed and went into the bathroom for a shower while his new bride stayed wrapped in the sheets, smiling dreamily.
After a few minutes, he turned off the water and reached for a towel.
Then he realized he had forgotten to bring one.
“Sweetheart,” he called from the bathroom, “could you please bring me a towel?”
His bride got up, took a towel from the chair, and walked to the bathroom door.
When he opened it, he stood there dripping wet, with nothing covering him.
She handed him the towel, but then her eyes slowly wandered downward. She looked puzzled, then leaned slightly closer, as if trying to understand something.
Pointing innocently, she asked, “Wait… what’s that?”
The husband blinked, a little embarrassed.
“Well,” he said, “that’s what we had so much fun with last night.”
She stared at him for a moment, confused and surprised.
Then she asked:
“Oh… is that all that’s left?”
