A man arrives in hell, nervous and confused, and is immediately greeted by the Devil.
“Welcome,” says the Devil with a grin. “Here, everyone gets to choose their eternal punishment. So take your time and pick wisely, because whatever you choose, you’ll be doing it forever.”
The man nods and follows him down a long hallway filled with doors.
Behind one door, people are standing in fire.
“Nope,” says the man.
Behind another, people are being chased by demons.
“Definitely not.”
They keep walking through room after room, each one worse than the last. The man starts to panic, thinking there’s no good option at all.
Then they pass one final door.
Inside, a man is sitting comfortably on a couch, watching football on a big-screen TV, while a beautiful cheerleader is kneeling in front of him.
The man’s eyes light up.
“That’s it!” he says. “That’s the one! I choose this room!”
The Devil raises an eyebrow. “Are you absolutely sure?”
The man laughs. “Are you kidding? Hell yes!”
The Devil smiles, opens the door, walks over to the cheerleader, taps her on the shoulder, and says:
“You can stop now. I found someone to replace you.”
