An elderly woman sat peacefully on her front porch, rocking gently in her chair and enjoying the evening breeze.

Suddenly, in a twinkle of sparkling light, a fairy godmother appeared before her.

“You have lived a long and wonderful life,” the fairy godmother said with a warm smile. “As a reward, I’m here to grant you three wishes!”

The old woman’s eyes widened with excitement. After a brief moment of thought, she said, “I’d love to be rich—truly wealthy!”

With a flick of her wand, the fairy godmother declared, “Wish granted!”

POOF! Her wooden rocking chair transformed into solid gold.

Overjoyed, the woman quickly made her second wish. “I want to be young and beautiful again, just like in my youth!”

With another wave of the wand, the fairy godmother smiled. “Wish granted!”

POOF! The elderly woman was instantly transformed into a stunning young lady, her reflection shining back at her from a nearby window.

“For your final wish?” the fairy godmother prompted.

Just then, the woman’s old, scruffy cat strolled by, rubbing against her leg. She looked down at him thoughtfully, then grinned.

“Can you turn my cat into a handsome prince?” she asked.

The fairy godmother gave a knowing nod. “Wish granted!”

POOF! The cat vanished, and in his place stood a man so breathtakingly handsome, he looked like he had walked right out of a fairy tale.

The prince stepped closer, gently took her hand, and gazed into her eyes with an intensity that made her heart race. Leaning in, he whispered with a sly smile…

“Bet you’re wishing you hadn’t taken me to the vet.”
