A man was riding home on a crowded bus after a long day at work.
Every seat was taken, people were standing in the aisle, and everyone was trying their best to pretend they weren’t pressed up against strangers.
Luckily, the man had managed to get a seat. Next to him sat a very attractive woman holding a baby in her arms.
After a few minutes, the baby started fussing, so the woman decided to breastfeed him. She adjusted herself discreetly and tried to get the baby to eat, but the child kept turning his head away.
“Come on, sweetheart,” she whispered. “Eat up, or I’ll have to give it to this nice man sitting next to us.”
The man heard her, but tried to look out the window and mind his own business.
A few minutes later, the baby was still refusing.
The woman sighed and said again, “Honey, please take it, or I’ll give it to this nice man here.”
The man shifted nervously in his seat.
Another few stops passed, and the baby still couldn’t decide.
Finally, the man leaned forward anxiously and blurted out,
“Come on, kid, make up your mind! I was supposed to get off four stops ago!”
