Joe and his wife were on their honeymoon in beautiful Hawaii.
During their trip, they couldn’t help but notice an elderly couple—both nearly 100 years old—also vacationing there.
Despite their age and having spent almost a lifetime together, the couple was incredibly affectionate. The old man constantly called his wife sweet names like “my dear,” “my love,” and “darling.”
Joe was both curious and impressed.
He approached the old man and asked,
“Sir, after all these years, how do you still call your wife such loving names? What’s your secret?”
The old man smiled and replied,
“Well… there’s really no secret. To be honest, I forgot her name about ten years ago…”
He leaned in slightly and added:
“…and to this day, she still hasn’t noticed. I’m too afraid to ask, so I just play it safe.” 😏
